Tara is an experienced technology investor with a passion for growing innovative companies across sectors. Before joining Alpha Edison, Tara served as a growth private equity associate at H.I.G. Capital, where she focused on deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio management within the technology sector. Prior to her role at H.I.G., Tara was a member of the growth team at Kayne Partners, specializing in investments in B2B software and tech-enabled services.

Tara is an LA native and graduated with honors from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. During her time on campus, she also served on the board of TAMID Group and Berkeley Women in Business.

When not working, Tara enjoys all things outdoors including playing soccer, hiking, and skiing. She also loves to travel, with some of her favorite places including Madrid and Japan. She spends lots of time with her friends and family, and of course her goldendoodle Bailey.
