Robey has been an investor at Alpha Edison since its founding in 2016, partnering closely with numerous portfolio companies, including DISQO, Kin Insurance, Ursa Major, Syntiant, Sidecar Health, Ownwell, Loti AI, and Gestalt. Before Alpha Edison, he served as a director at Strathspey Crown, a growth equity firm specializing in healthcare and technology investments. Robey began his career in strategy consulting at Monitor Deloitte (formerly Monitor Group).

Originally from Chicago, Robey studied Economics and Finance at Claremont McKenna College. After nearly a decade in Los Angeles, he and his wife—a radiation oncologist—now reside in Austin, Texas, where they're raising their son alongside their two dogs.
